New reporting for Projectfusion 3

We’re rolling out reporting to our Projectfusion 3 clients. This provides full usage reports and means that you can use Projectfusion for critical data rooms as well as collaboration.

The reports list everything that users have been doing, including how long they’ve spent on site, what comments they’ve left,  and what they’ve been searching for.

This is just the start of a series of reporting features that we will be introducing over the next 6 months.

Site level reporting

In each site there is a folder called “_Site Reports” which is created automatically for each site you have.

The PDF Site summaries show overall activity, as well as activity by users email domain (so all users with say a ford.com email address are grouped together).

The excel format audit log records a line for every action on the site, letting you drill down to user level activity. You should keep the excel audit logs somewhere safe after you delete a site.

Reports generated for each site

Reporting for entire facility (Beta)

In the repository (administrators only) there is a folder called ‘Reports’ at the top level. This contains some reports we’re testing. At the moment there are only 2 reports that are really useful – the Audit logs, which are excel reports of all activity for all sites.

(At the moment, these are the only logs that contain comments and searches – we’re working to get those into the site level reports.)

AuditLog to Current Week – Excel based audit trail for the whole instance before Monday @00:00

AuditLog This Week – Excel report from Monday @ 00:00 to now.

The other reports here are works in progress, and give you an idea of the sort of detail we can capture. We’ll probably remove these and add more useful reports (e.g. lastLoginPerUser would be great as an excel report).
