This article will explain how to accept invites and reset passwords as a site manager.
Members Page
On the Members page you will see a button called Reset Password, which will allow you to send a password reset email to a user, helping them re-gain access to the data room. This button opens a dialog box which allows you to:
- Send Reset (managers and admins) – Sends a system generated password reset email to the user.
- Send By Hand (admins only!) – Shows a new dialog box which lets you copy and paste a password reset message so you can manually email it – great for avoiding spam filtering issues.
Pending Invites Page
On the Pending Invites page you will see a button called Accept & Reset Password. This button opens a dialog box which allows you to:
- Accept Only (managers and admins) – Changes them from a pending to an active site member.
- Send Reset (managers and admins) – Accepts the members pending invite AND sends them a system generated password reset email.
- Send By Hand (admins only!) – Accepts the members pending invite AND shows a new dialog box which lets you copy and paste a password reset message so you can manually email it – great for avoiding spam filtering issues.
