If you want to use SecureView restrictions (Consumer View-Only and Consumer PDFPrint), then please see the current list of file types we have tested, and some guidelines.
If a document does not meet these guidelines, then to share it you will have to either convert it to PDF and allow PDFPrint role access, or change the permissions on that document to be Consumer.
Supported file-types: PDF
PDF’s up to about 30MB or 500 pages will be viewable on screen for Consumer View-Only users and higher roles.
PDF’s up to about 100MB or 1,000 pages will be downloadable as watermarked PDF for Consumer PDFPrint and higher roles.
Other supported file-types
Files up to about 15MB in size will convert fine. Larger documents are not guaranteed to work. If a document is too large for preview, then try exporting a version at lower resolution or quality settings.

How SecureView and Preview work
We slightly decrease quality, and show the documents on screen in a protected format ,with an optional watermark. Documents are encrypted in memory.
When you allow download as PDF, quality is higher and we disable the Copy feature in the PDF, so text and images cannot be copied.
If your file isn’t on this list please do test it, it’s not exhaustive – or ask us to check it out.
